This is exclusive to the AIA Group, and comparative surveys have demonstrated that it surpasses the existing Energy Control Unit technologies employed worldwide.

Following the power cuts of 1998, the independent system operator in Sacramento, California (CAISO) carried out a survey of the electricity distribution and transportation company, California Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), in order to analyse the effectiveness of the proposed restoration plans and the recovery protocols. The technology employed by the AIA Group provided a significantly faster response, thus showing considerable economic savings and increasing the reliability of network operations.

This technology is based on the AGORA system currently used at PG&E, and 17 million Californians depend on it. Our basic algorithms have helped us develop the following products:
